Want to learn about a ceramicist’s unique approach to their craft, while trying your hand at creating your own clay vessel? Join us for a night of learning how to use the pottery wheel – absolutely no experience is required for this fun, hands-on night working with clay. 

This hands-on collaborative clay project explores community building through interactive, accessible artmaking. This workshop series combines the mediums of clay and felt to focus on the tactile nature of creating 3D works.

Beginners will explore basic weave structures using floor looms to create several articles. For returning or intermediate weavers, this course will help to refresh and improve their weaving knowledge.

If you’ve always longed to draw and paint, this gentle introduction to basic art skills is for you. Learn techniques for creating effective compositions in traditional drawing and painting media including pencil, charcoal and acrylic on canvas.

Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing from how to prepare clay to the correct posture at the wheel, with demos in each class on the different steps of centering the clay, throwing cylinders, bowls and plates.

If you are intimidated by drawing, this six-week course increases confidence through a progressive and varied selection of exercises and activities.

This 3-week workshop will teach participants how to warp, weave, and finish a scarf using the rigid heddle loom. It is suitable for adults of all skill levels and no prior weaving experience is necessary.
