An AGB Studio Membership gives you access to our professionally equipped studios—spaces designed to support creativity across clay, textiles, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and more. Whether you’re just starting your practice or you’ve been at it for years, membership gives you the freedom and flexibility to create on your own schedule.
Studio Access Membership — $175/year
Access to AGB’s creative studios during open access hours, including the Creative Commons, Mezzanine, Photo Studio & Darkroom, Fine Art Studio, Textile Studio, Craft Studio, and Pottery & Clay Studio.
Your membership will stay active as long as your fees are up to date. For your convenience, you will be notified about your upcoming membership expiry 30 days before your renewal date by email.
Please note that discounted rates of $160/year are available for students and seniors through the Brock Lobby desk.
Information sessions are offered twice a month for artists to learn more about Studio Access Membership at the Art Gallery of Burlington. Please note that each session will provide the same information, which includes a presentation on Studio Access Membership policies and procedures, a guided tour of the AGB Studios, and time for participant questions.

Studio Members Orientation Session
The Studio Member Orientation Session is required for all new members before accessing studio spaces. During this session, members will review health and safety protocols, studio procedures, and the AGB’s Code of Conduct. Staff will discuss each member’s studio interests and access needs, identify primary studio areas, review equipment assessment or training requirements, and assist with storage unit sign-up and membership waivers. Orientation sessions also provide time to answer questions about membership benefits, studio schedules, and access procedures to ensure members feel confident and prepared to participate fully in the studio community.
Orientation Sessions are offered twice monthly and provide the same content at each session. Registration is required in advance.

To keep our studios safe and inspiring for everyone, members are expected to:
• Complete mandatory safety orientations and demonstrate competency before using certain equipment
• Follow posted safety guidelines and wear protective equipment when required
• Bring their own consumable materials (clay, fibre, wood, etc.)
• Clean up their workspace and return all tools after use
• Respect communal spaces and other members
AGB’s studios are active, hands-on spaces. Members use equipment such as pottery wheels, kilns, looms, and darkroom chemicals at their own risk. By becoming a member, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety policies.
Need to store materials or ongoing work? Limited storage is available for a yearly fee. Larger or long-term projects must be approved by studio staff to ensure fair access for all members.
