This work session offers experienced participants the opportunity to further explore warp painting on plant-based fibres using supplied dyes. Participants will help to mix the dye stocks, then pre-treat and paint their warps and weft.  

This session is designed for weavers who have taken Introduction to Dye and Warp Painting with MargaretJane Wallace, and are able to prepare warps and wefts for dyeing. Dyes and chemicals will be supplied. The participant must be able to prepare and supply ready-to-dye wraps and wefts of less than 450 grams that are made from plant-based fibres such as cotton, rayon, cottolin, or linen.
