Kamaldeep Kaur is a visual artist based in Canada, originally from India, working with gouache, natural pigments, and mixed media. Her practice is inspired by Indian miniature painting traditions and explores themes of identity, belonging, and cultural memory through a contemporary lens. Kamaldeep has over ten years of experience as an artist and more than five years of experience teaching art in India. In Canada, she has worked as a Visual Art Instructor with Arts for All and Under the Willows in Hamilton, City of Mississauga Recreation Programs, YMCA Hamilton’s Beyond the Bell program, and after-care art programs in Toronto. Her teaching approach emphasizes process-based learning, material exploration, and individual expression.
