The Art Gallery of Burlington offers unique and inclusive arts programming for all ages. We’re committed to fostering creative growth through merging technical and critical understandings of the arts, as well as a deeper understanding of how art can reflect the most important issues of our time.
Guilds at the AGB
AGB was founded in 1975 by seven guilds in partnership with the City of Burlington to create a professional and social space to promote, protect, and grow traditional arts and crafts in Canada. The AGB studios host the seven guilds of Arts Burlington and support practicing artists, youth, and the wider community in their personal, professional, and artistic development at all levels of skill and achievement.
Arts Burlington collectively represents all of the guilds including the Burlington Fine Arts Association, Burlington Handweavers and Spinners Guild, Latow Photographers Guild, Burlington Potters’ Guild, Burlington Rug Hooking Craft Guild, and the Burlington Guild of Sculptors and Woodcarvers, and the Digital Arts Guild of Burlington.
