Using a mix of traditional darkroom practices and alternative photographic methods, you’ll experiment with translucent and graphic materials—such as fabrics, flowers, stencils, and glassware—as well as personal objects that reflect memory, emotion, and story.

AGB presents a professional development workshop with Jude Abu Zaineh, a Palestinian-Canadian interdisciplinary artist-curator working across art, food, science, and technology studies.

Hand-build a decorative feathered friend in this workshop where we’ll focus on creating a classic ceramic figure personalized with your own unique touches. 

Hop aboard for a special winter art excursion beginning at the Textile Museum of Canada (55 Centre Ave) in Toronto and traveling to the Art Gallery of Mississauga with a final stop at the Art Gallery of Burlington before returning to Toronto.

This workshop will introduce alternative, eco-friendly materials and methods that minimize the use of toxic chemicals commonly found in conventional darkroom practices.
