Students will be introduced to essential tools, materials and foundational stitches while exploring techniques for adding texture and pattern to fabric. This class is designed for complete beginners as well as anyone looking to refresh their skills in a creative environment. 

 

 

About the Instructor

Natalia Tjiang is an embroidery artist with a background in professional sewing, costume work and hand embroidery. Her workshops focus on creating a welcoming and approachable space for beginners to learn foundational embroidery techniques while exploring their creativity. Inspired by florals, textures and handmade craftsmanship, she encourages participants to build confidence through making and leave with skills they can continue to develop on their own.
