CURATOR: Christine Saly-Chapman and Jasmine Mander

We all need to start somewhere. From Collector to Collection sets the stage for the beginning of the AGB’s permanent collection. Herbert O. Bunt’s single largest donation formulated the base of what is known as the largest collection of contemporary Canadian ceramics. As a major donor of over 300 works throughout his lifetime, his collection of ceramic pieces from across Canada aided in establishing the focus of the AGB’s collection 40 years ago.
