What interests you most about supporting the AGB’s Soup Bowl event?
We have a proud tradition of, and belief in, giving back to our community. We believe that businesses should do more than just create jobs and provide goods and services; they should also play a significant role in helping their communities be a better place in which to live, participate and enjoy quality of life. Corporate giving is an “investment” in our community and the world, not just charity, and we try to do this in an inclusive and wide-ranging way – so supporting arts, culture and creativity (through the AGB!) is part of how we can demonstrate that belief and our commitment. The AGB adds richness to our community and our lives, and not only are we grateful for that, but we want everyone to be able to experience what the AGB has to offer, regardless of personal or financial circumstances.
How are you celebrating or sharing the bowls?
We will be doing our annual Holiday Tree decorating at the Burlington Performance Arts Centre At Smith’s this is such a popular event amongst our staff, that every year we ask for everyone interested to enter their name into a draw, and then draw 8 lucky winners who this year will each receive a beautiful bowl and a restaurant voucher!
