This family-oriented workshop is the perfect way to learn the basics of clay or develop your skills through solo and collaborative play. Participants can experiment with this tactile and engaging medium, building exciting forms like animals, pinch pots, coil pots and more, guided by talented and imaginative ceramicist Nicole Levaque. By the end of the workshop, each participant will select one object to fire for pick up at the gallery within 2-4 weeks.
This intergenerational workshop is open to adults accompanied by child and youth participants ages 4 and up. Children attending this workshop must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Please note: Saturday September 13th will be a specially focused workshop for neurodivergent children and their families. We’ll provide options and alternatives for kids who have varying sensory needs, and work at a pace that is tailored to each participant’s progress. Any specific needs that you think could be helpful for our instructor to know ahead of time can be emailed to Education Coordinator Annie Webber at annie@agb.life
