Inspired by Russna Kaur’s exhibition and Vick Naresh’s own painting practice, this hands-on workshop will introduce beginner-friendly techniques for quickly and intuitively building layers for abstract paintings grounded in memory and storytelling. Starting with paper materials and drawing, participants will experiment with compositions and build responsive mark-making using paint with mixed media assets to investigate how an abstract composition can be developed towards resolution.
