Do you like working with your hands? In this Clay Studio Program designed for teens, you will learn both hand building and wheel throwing techniques, while developing your own creative voice. Inspired by contemporary artists working with ceramics, the group will explore slab construction, basic wheel forms, surface design with slips, carving, and glazing. Along the way, you will experiment and take risks while learning how to plan a series of projects to build a small collection of functional or sculptural ceramic pieces.

9:30am-3:30pm daily
