December 2025 - Give Today and Rediscover the Joy of Play

December 2025 – Give Today and Rediscover the Joy of Play

Briar Emond moved to Burlington in 2004, and she was a new Mom in a new place. When she started going to the Art Gallery of Burlington, she instantly found a community that was welcoming and encouraging. Her children genuinely loved coming here growing up. Like others, the AGB has meant so much for her family. Spending time at the Gallery brings you back to that sense of play and freedom to explore your interests, creativity, and well-being. When you donate, you’re supporting our entire community. You are giving back to yourself, your neighbours, local youth, and living artists. All gifts made this December up to $18,000 will be matched! Give now to double your impact. Please donate today and rediscover the joy of play this holiday season.

AGB Arts Fund for Kids

AGB Arts Fund for Kids

The AGB is uniquely positioned to offer immersive art experiences beyond the typical school classroom, and this new Bursary Program will ensure that more children and youth can benefit from the creative, social, and emotional opportunities that arts education provides. The Joyce Family Foundation has committed to providing $50,000 annually for five years, with $35,000 directed toward program delivery and $15,000 invested in the AGB Arts Fund for Kids, held at the Burlington Community Foundation. We are seeking to match the $15,000 annual investment through community fundraising to support the newly established fund.

Cherish and celebrate the AGB’s impressive collection of contemporary Canadian ceramics. Your generous support will allow us to purchase work directly from artists so that we can continue to provide a platform for established and emergent voices, engage in art education, foster critical craft dialogues, and represent a diverse range of current Canadian ceramic and clay practices for future generations of makers.
