Join us for a free public artist talk with acclaimed ceramic artist Grace Han, presented as part of the AGB’s Mentor-In-Residence Program. During her week-long mentorship residency, Grace will share insights from Freedom as Method, a process-driven approach to clay that embraces intuition, repetition, and the freedom to explore ideas in unexpected directions.

Drawing from her own evolving practice and the AGB’s significant collection of Canadian contemporary ceramics, Grace will discuss how artists can expand their sculptural vocabulary, nurture experimentation, and cultivate a more open, instinctual studio practice. This talk offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from an artist whose work spans large-scale vessels, sculptural innovation, and performance-based making.
