Why do art museums collect? And what significance does the AGB’s collection of contemporary Canadian ceramics—the largest in the world—have to our local context?
Join us for a pre-recorded virtual tour of the collections vault at the Art Gallery of Burlington, led by Collections Manager Christine Saly-Chapman. This tour will address contemporary issues in gallery and museum collections, and share highlights from the Art Gallery of Burlington’s holdings of contemporary Canadian ceramics. The tour will be followed by a live Q&A. This event is part of Burlington Heritage Week celebrations.
Please note: Registration for this even is required. All registrations will be processed through BPL’s website.
