Vessels allow us to communicate, share, nourish, heal and create. Over this fall season, join us for a series of family-friendly activities that will allow you to explore how pots, bowls, jars, and beyond allow us to relate and connect with those around us. Family Open Studios this fall are presented in conjunction with our exhibition How to Read a Vessel, on view in our galleries, hallways and outdoor spaces. We encourage families to explore the exhibition during their visit, and grab a Guide for All Ages to aid their understanding of the exhibition’s artwork, and themes.

This week, families will create Paper Bag Gingerbread Houses

How to Participate:

Choose a one-hour block of time (1 PM or 2 PM start) for your family “bubble.” Please arrive 10 minutes early on the day of the program.

If you are unable to attend, please reach out to us so that we can ensure another family can have your spot, as for your safety program capacity is limited to just four families per hour outdoors (September-October, weather permitting), and three indoors (November-December). We ask that families be mindful of allowing as many community members the opportunity to attend this program as possible when reserving spots.

We want to ensure you and your family have the best experience possible. We ask that all guests visit our website to review our safety guidelines before arrival at the gallery.

Thank you to our Open Studio sponsor, Burlington Hydro.
