This course introduces participants to the fundamental principles of clay slab work. They will learn essential hand-building techniques, with a focus on preparing, handling, and shaping clay slabs into simple forms and functional items. The goal is to establish a strong foundation in slab techniques while fostering creativity and encouraging exploration. By the end of this course, students will have completed multiple simple slab-built projects, gaining confidence in using basic hand-building techniques to create functional ceramic pieces.
