Want to learn about a ceramicist’s unique approach to their craft, while trying your hand at creating your own clay vessel? Join us for a night of learning how to use the pottery wheel – absolutely no experience is required for this fun, hands-on night working with clay. 

Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing from how to prepare clay to the correct posture at the wheel, with demos in each class on the different steps of centering the clay, throwing cylinders, bowls and plates.

Enjoy a fun afternoon in the Clay Studio with friends and family as we teach you how to build structural forms out of clay using beginner-friendly handbuilding techniques.

This course introduces participants to the fundamental principles of clay slab work. They will learn essential hand-building techniques, with a focus on preparing, handling, and shaping clay slabs into simple forms and functional items.

In this class, artists will have the opportunity to learn foundational handbuilding skills that will challenge them and allow them to express their creativity in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Learn the basics of wheel throwing with this four-week class that will take you through all the stages of creating and finishing mug and bowl shapes.

Join us for one or both days in the Pottery studio designed especially for teens during March Break! Open to aspiring ceramicists ages 12-17, each full-day workshop
